CRAZY COMPASS
Join Terri Miller in making this Crazy Compass Wall hanging in a 10-month block of the month class. Your quilt blocks are embroidered, decorative stitched and quilted in the hoop. Each month receive a new block and see a demo. Class Fee is $100

Designer's Gallery Software

Brian Baille, the creator of Designers Gallery Software, will present seminars at Ellicott City Sew Vac on Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th.

Serger Projects Club - Mary Beth Loup

These monthly classes are great for those who are new to serging as well as those looking for fun projects that go beyond seam finishing. We'll be making projects from the new book, "Ready, Set, Serge" by Georgie Melot. In the first class learn to attach a zipper with a cording foot, create a tassel and end up with a classy cosmetic clutch. Club fee is $10 per month

Introduction to Heirloom Sewing I - Debbie Melton, Certified Martha Pullen Instructor
If you love to sew delicate beautiful things, then this class is for you. Learn the basics of heirloom sewing techniques such as pintucks, joining lace to lace, lace shaping and other lovely techniques. This is a hands-on class with no finished project. Debbie will introduce each technique that you will practice on fabric provided in a kit. This class is a prerequisite to other heirloom classes that will be offered in the fall. Class fee $50.00 plus $10 kit fee payable to instructor

Beginner's 9 Block Sampler Quilt Block of the Month - Lorraine Carter
This is the class to get you started in quilting. Learn rotary cutting, fabric selection and piecing while creating 9 different blocks. The class is 5 sessions on the first Saturday of the month. Join at any time, this is an ongoing class, Class fee $75 for 5 classes plus supply list

Students will learn the basics of sewing to get them started on their way to "Project Runway". You must have your own machine in good working order for this class.

3D Patchwork Sampler - Jan Tunnicliff
Learn the basics of three dimensional piecing - cutting, folding and layering - that make this patchwork stand out. Using Jackie Robinson's Three Dimensional Patchwork Sampler as a guide, you'll create six different three-dimensional blocks, from simple stars and flying geese to bowties and pinwheels and even tulips. Pfaff 4D Software - Ellie Donald
Join us in this monthly class as we explore the many facets of 4D Embroidery software. We will review the different modules and begin exploring 4D Embroidery Extra, Design Aligner and Stitch Editor. We will learn to emboss towels and fleece using Fabric Decorator, create a cross stitch design, reproduce a portrait with picture stitch and create embroideries with Design Creator.   We will meet the 4th Wednesday of each month Fee $10
