 Thursday, Nov 5thth * Friday, Nov 6th * Saturday, Nov 7th
 From 9:00am to 6:00pm at the Ellicott City Sew-Vac in the Normandy Shopping Center off of Rt. 40
 Exciting new products, continuous demonstrations & SPECIAL SHOW PRICES. Sewing machines and sergers, software, notions, books, furniture and all sewing accessories are specially priced for three days!

Thursday November 5th

9:00 - 10:30 - "Fearless Free Motion" - Linda Hall

                Afraid to try free motion quilting? Let Linda show you new, easy to learn free motion quilt patterns! Linda will demonstrate some incredible free motion techniques with free form features, leaves, feathers and filler patterns. Bring a sketch pad and follow along for each design! No drawing ability necessary!

11:00 - 12:30 - "Take Your Embroidery to the Next Level" - Cathy Brown

                Using the IQ Designer, Cathy shows exciting and fun projects on the Baby Lock Destiny. Plus, learn how the camera can connect designs effortlessly creating easy combined designs for large areas and borders.

12:30 - 1:30 - Lunch (and shopping of course)

1:30 - 3:00 - "Appliqué the Easy Way" - Cathy Brown

                Cathy will demonstrate how to combine a cutting machine, like the Silhouette Cameo, with your embroidery machine to create simple and easy appliqué! Existing appliqué embroidery designs can easily be converted to be pre cut automatically, find out how simple it is in this class.

Friday November 6th

9:00 - 10:30 - "To the Letter" - Cathy Brown

                Our projects always have something to say, so let's explore the alphabet and words in our embroidery and Quilting! How many ways can you include a quote, a birth announcement, a song or poem? You will be surprised!

11:00 - 12:30 - "Embellish Everything!" - Linda Hall

                Quilters and non quilters alike will get the opportunity to see just how creative and versatile embellishing can be. Learn to use every type of fiber there is to create unique fiber art.

12:30 - 1:30 Lunch (and shopping, don't forget shopping)

1:30 - 3:00 "Notions Commotion" Janice and Jenny Osborn

                Let Janice and Jenny show you the latest tools and gadgets you will just need to have!

Saturday November 7th

9:30 - 11:00 "More Fearless Free Motion" - Linda Hall

                Now that you've lost your fear of free motion in part one of this class on Thursday, it's time to take those skills to the next level and learn how to incorporate your techniques together and quilt with confidence!

11:30 - 1:00 - "The Digitizing Revolution" - Brad Martin

                It seems like Digitizing programs are designed to confuse people. Not this one! See how easy, streamlined, and AFFORDABLE the new Designer's Gallery Creator digitizing software is. Brad will demonstrate what makes this new program the best on the market.

1:00 - 2:00 - Lunch (shopping too!)

2:00 - 3:30 "Serging Ahead: New Tools and techniques" - Cathy Brown

                Baby Lock has been busy making their great serger experience even better. Learn about the new accessories, tools and projects we have available now. Cathy is an expert at using all the Baby Lock sergers, and will WOW you with what is possible with these easy to learn techniques!

Sew Fair Instructor Bios

Linda Hall is a fiber artist and author of "The Art of Machine Needle Felting". She is an award winning quilter, and an accomplished instructor. Her work has been featured on Sewing with Nancy and displayed at craft and quilt shows nationwide. She is coming to share her secrets for quilting and embellishment techniques to help bring your projects to the next level!
Cathy Brown is a Baby Lock Educator and expert on sergers, quilting, and embroidery machines. She will demonstrate the latest techniques and tools to make your serging and embroidery the best it can be!
Brad Martin is the handsome and talented son of store owner Janice. He is an expert on embroidery software and computers in general, and also writes the biographies for Sew Fair instructors.
