This month we will talk about couching & the cording feet. Cording foot with 3 grooves (#22) and Cording foot with 5 grooves (#25) are designed to couch several strands of cording simultaneously, holding them side by side and preventing them from tangling or twisting as they pass under the needle.  The finished look is like a narrow braid - great finish on a pillow, shirt, table runner or anywhere you want a decorator touch!  

You can either bring the feet with your sewing machine, cording, thread and sewing supplies, or bring a notebook to take notes and decide if this is a technique you want to use!
