This month: Using the Edgestitch foot (#10, 10C or 10D) allows you to place your fabric edge against a metal blade in the center of the foot. You can adjust your needle position to stitch very close to the edge or even stitch in the ditch! Adding decorative or reinforcing stitching to a seam is a breeze with this foot as well. Tucks and heirloom techniques can also be made using this foot.

For supplies, you can either bring your machine and an Edgestitching foot (plus anything you'd need to make small samples) if you want to practice, or you can just bring a notebook and observe if you're trying to decide whether this is a technique you want to try.
